Meet Lauren

Hey I’m Lauren,

I have been hairdressing since I was seventeen years old (which now is a long time)! I’m proudly an award winning Bridal Hair Stylist for over ten years now. After exploring the hairdressing industry I fell in love with styling hair, I could style hair all day, every day! I dived deep into the wedding hair industry doing anywhere between 4 and 10 weddings a week! Talk about DREAM JOB!

When I fell pregnant with my first baby I was working full time in a salon that was micro managed, manipulative, strict and I was always riddled of anxiety.

I thought, 'I can't live my life like this anymore'. I went on maternity leave early and quit (it was the best thing I ever did for myself).

I soon realised home salons were becoming a thing, you can work from home, work the hours you want, make an insane amount money (and keep your earnings to yourself), actually have FUN at work and best of all you're in total control! So, what did I do?

I started my home salon and wedding hair company.

I designed my career around my new mum life. I loved what I did for myself, and my severe anxiety has never returned!

I now own, work in and operate two successful businesses!

Wedding hair styling can take you on SO MANY career paths, you’ll get to see some of my creations in the courses; weddings, magazine, TV, runway and teaching/education.

There were tears, exhaustion, confusion and at times I wanted to give up completely.

I had to learn business through trial and error, and spend thousands of dollars on products and support.

There are so many hats you have to wear when owning and operating your business, but it is possible with the right guidance and learning. Now, I am so glad I never gave up!

I worked with my first born at home with me in my home salon until she was one, then had my second baby one year later. My business is still doubling every year.
